One of New Zealand’s most popular brands, Deadly Ponies, started from humble beginnings crafting leather goods from tannery off-cuts. And now?

Today sees the launch of Deadly Ponies’ recycle programme in aims of achieving zero waste and complete product circularity. In conjunction with their ethos of ethical and sustainable manufacturing, Deadly Ponies are asking you to recycle your pre-loved bags in return for a $50 voucher to put towards that new-season bag you’ve been eyeing up.

Your old faithful will be deconstructed and reconstructed at their atelier and used to create a new bag for someone else to enjoy. Products that are usable but not recyclable, will be donated to the programme’s charity partner, Dress for Success NZ, along with 10 percent of sales from the recycle collection.
