Get yourself in the mood (of the lighting variety) thanks to multi-talented, multi-medium creative, Jiho Yun.
We featured the work of Jiho Yun’s husband (Sam Choi of Walk in The Park) last week and, now, it is Yun’s turn to take centre stage.
An exceptional talent in her own right, Yun studied film-making in South Korea before migrating to New Zealand and wowing the socks off us all with her incredible eye. Nailing photography, styling, art-making and online store-owning, Yun works with a gentle grace that’s complemented by authentic thought.
Here, we see Yun put her skills to use in the form of candle design. These delights are footed spheres making them the ideal companion for traditionally pillar candle-designed holders. Commissioning the handmade services of Mimong Candle in Seoul, they’re crafted from 50 per cent beeswax, 50 per cent soy wax and a 100 per cent cotton wick with a generous 20 hours of burn time.
