Local independent clothing label, Penny Sage, have released a limited-edition capsule collection of hand-painted print dresses and scrunchies in aid of Women’s Refuge NZ and National Bail Out.

Each year, the good folk of Penny Sage, hold a fundraising initiative to raise money for Women’s Refuge New Zealand with 100 per cent of sales going to the cause. This year, they’ve added another hugely worthy cause to the roster, National Bail Out, a black-led and black-centered collective of abolitionist organisers, lawyers and activists.

The clothing collection, created by designer Kate Megaw, includes a cut of their classic ‘Marianne’ dress and 90s-throwback fabric hair scrunchies, both covered in hand-painted prints by Grace Crawshaw-Mclean and Wiebke Trübner.
