Loewe gives support to help at-risk children affected by Covid-19

A Jonathan Anderson-led Loewe announce another support initiative for those suffering from the effects of Covid-19.

Loewe, the Spanish luxury goods maker, have identified a particular group of the affected — children who are victims of the increasing numbers of domestic violence cases.

Having already pledged 100,000 face masks to those on the frontline of the global fight against Covid-19, Loewe announce a minimum €500,000 donation and a additional €40 for every purchase from the Paula’s Ibiza collection, thereafter. Loewe have partnered with Plataforma de Infancia, a Spanish alliance of social organisations that works to protect children and adolescents’ rights, to launch a series of educational programmes which aim to reduce inequality amongst this younger demographic.

It’s the children of low socio-economic families that are reportedly the most at risk within the staggeringly high increase of domestic violence during this period global self-isolation.
