The London studio of legendary British architect, Zaha Hadid, (who passed away in 2016) have had their servers hacked and the data’s currently being held at ransom.

With 348 of their employees working from home due to Covid-19, the esteemed architecture firm have warned other business to be wary of a potential increase in cyber crime due to the current financial climate.

Fortunately the stolen data had been backed up and there was little disruption to the workings of the company but there’s certainly a lesson to learnt around security during this tumultuous time. The crime is currently still under investigation by authorities, and ZHA has refused to pay the ransom.
