Blurring the lines between accessories and art expression, the entire D LY P collection is now available to view in its entirety.

Deadly Ponies and, in particular, their sub-brand, D LY P, is a fan-favourite at INDEX. The leading-edge designs are full of experimental silhouettes, exhilarating materials (think luxe satin and high-gloss, croc-embossed textures) and this round in a 90s kaleidoscope of poppy colours such as azure, pistachio, raspberry and bordeaux.

First stop? The pop up’s debut location is at Deadly Ponies’ HQ in the heart of Auckland’s best shopping district, Ponsonby, before journeying around the North Island. The high-octane installation promises colour collisions, euphoric escapism (yes please) and Barbie zeitgeist vibes.

“We wanted to create an experience to celebrate the arrival of Spring, curating a scene of euphoric escapism for the urban woman. The pop-up aesthetic takes cues from the D LY P collection, with particular emphasis on the hand-sprayed custom gradient we have developed for our Pre-Fall capsule, defacing our ladylike silhouettes.” — creative director, Liam Bowden.

Until now, the range has predominantly only been available through American and UK stockists (such as Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Selfridges) so this showing will be the first time the collection will be available to view in its entirety in New Zealand.

If you can’t make the trip, but are as obsessed as INDEX, you can head online to get your D LY P fix. And check the link below for the travelling pop-up dates and locations.
